With counterbalance (or overcenter) valves is possible to support suspended loads and control their movement during lowering, excluding oscillations or too fast and dangerous movements. Through the flanged surface, the VBCF series valves can be installed directly on the actuator.
Performance Specifications
Counterbalance valves are a fundamental component for the hydraulic circuits of those applications that manage suspended loads. VBCF counterbalance valves are designed to obtain the best control of the loads in working conditions that foresee gravitational forces on the actuators, such as cylinders or hydraulic motors. The VBCF overcenter valves are double-acting, ie they control the load in both delivery directions; they are flangable valves, which can therefore be applied directly on the actuator with consequent reduction of the hysteresis phenomenon. Sustaining a gravitational load is one of the fundamental tasks of counterbalance valves.
